I worked with Ron at Ashland for several years. Never at a loss for a come back and I don't have to tell you how stubborn he could be.
He was a proud worker and a hard worker. What he was most, was a man who cared more for his daughter than anything else in this world.
Dana, you were always his pride and joy. Even when you were struggling, he loved you dearly. I know this because I don't think many days went by that he didn't speak about you in a loving way. I knew that you were his world.
I am sorry for your loss; for you and your family because his next favorite subject was his grand children. Keep your memories close to you and rely on them to help you get through. His loss has touched many of us.

I worked with Ron for many years at Ashland/ASK Chemicals. Ron was there when I started in 1993 and he was always a good mentor and role model to me. He was known as a hard working guy but also one who was very pleasant and easy to talk to. It was an honor to work with him for so many years and he will be sorely missed.
