Willard Mason Halterman Jr.,62,entered into rest Monday, February 27,2023 at 3:37am. Willard was born October 12,1960, in Cleveland, Ohio. Willard showed great honor to be a Veteran of the United States Airforce. He was also proud to be part of the Carpenters Union, Local 373, for over 30 years. Jr was battling stage 5 kidney failure, amongst other health issues, but this never stopped him from living life. Always being there for his family and friends to offer wisdom, advice, to have a good laugh with or even cry with, is who Jr was... A GREAT MAN TO KNOW!!! Preceded in death by his parents, Willard, Sr. and Elizabeth "Betty" (Nagy) Halterman. Willard was the loving husband of Alice Halterman (Rowe), Cherished father of Heather (Dustin) Belt, Stacy (Ron) Daniels, and Jason ( Kristi) Rowe. Adored Papaw/Paw of Tabitha Wray, Collin Daniels, Hunter Rowe and Nellie Belt. Respected brother of Debbie (Lowell) Miller and Rodney Halterman. Caring uncle and astounding friend to many. Family will receive friends at David Martens & Son Funeral Home 4175 Rocky River Dr. (Between Lorain & Puritas) on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. with a Celebration of his Life at 7:30 p.m. The funeral will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery 10175 Rawiga Rd., Seville 44273 on Thursday at 1:00 p.m.
On Saturday, March 4th, there will be a spaghetti dinner fundraiser and the VFW Post 9340 in Columbia Station from 3-8 p.m. to help with funeral expenses. $10.00 donation and carryout available. Raffle tickets for a "65" TV. Contact Stacy at 440 384-1325 or Vicki at 440 865-8280 for tickets.
