Roger L. Swan Age 63. Passed away unexpectedly at home. Beloved husband of Sharon (nee Booth) for 35 years. Loving dad of Tyler, Josh (Viki) and Sophie. Dear brother of Paul (deceased), Bob (deceased), Tim, Peggy and Karen. Uncle and great-uncle. Dear son of the late Walter and Faustyna Swan. Family will receive friends at the David Martens & Son Funeral Home 4175 Rocky River Drive (between Lorain & Puritas) Cleveland, Ohio on Tuesday, September 24th, from 12-2 p.m. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Brook Park, Ohio.
Roger grew up in a large family of eight. He enjoyed talking about the great times he had on family vacations and how he learned to fish. He had a deep interest in tortoises, turtles and different types of saltwater and tropical fish. He had a strong loving attachment to his pug, Summer.
Roger shared his love of animals and nature with his wife, two sons and a daughter. He especially loved taking annual vacations to Sanibel Island and St. Pete's beach in Florida. He looked forward to spending time with his family, fishing and stopping at Disney World with his family for many memorable visits.
Roger spend his career life sharing a preschool with me for 30 years serving the Medina community of young families.
Roger is the love of my life and I will always treasure the special moments we shared. He will live forever in my heart. - Sharon.
