Patricia Ann Milan, age 88, of Rocky River, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 4th, surrounded by her loving family.
Cherished wife of 64 years to James. She was preceded in death by her parents, Al and Rosemary (née Kelley) Bitterman; her son, Joe; and her brothers, Thomas (Katherine, deceased) and Neil (deceased) (Helen) Bitterman. She will be deeply missed by her daughters, Pam and Jen; her beloved grandchildren, Jason (Kimberly) Milan and Cameron Cranke; and her adored great-grandchildren, Ashlynne, Aidyn, Annabella, and Ameilya. Pat was also a dear sister to Michael (Winnie) Bitterman and Gerald (Fran, deceased) Bitterman, and a loving aunt and great-aunt to many.
Pat built a remarkable career as an executive secretary at CEI, Durkee Foods, and Allstate, where she was highly regarded and known for her legendary shorthand skills. Beyond her work, she was known for her warmth, grace, and devotion to her family. She was an excellent cook and baker, enjoyed gardening her flowers and took great pride in her home. Her beautiful smile and cunning quick wit will be missed.
Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, December 10th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Angela Merici Catholic Church, 20970 Lorain Road, Fairview Park. Family will receive friends at the church from 9:30 to 10:00 a.m. Following the Mass, all are invited to join the family for lunch at The Aviator Restaurant, 20920 Brookpark Road.
