Norma Perritt Obituary

It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother, Norma A. Perritt, who passed away peacefully on May 11, 2026, at the age of 71.

Norma was a woman whose kindness, strength, and unwavering love touched everyone fortunate enough to know her. She devoted her life to her family, always placing the needs of others before her own and creating a home filled with warmth, laughter, and unconditional support.

Born on October 20th 1954 in Conway, SC, to Hansel and Kitty Abrams. Norma lived a life centered on faith, family, and compassion. She was a devoted wife to Dale for over 50 years following him all over the country during his Navy career., loving mother to Joshua (Megan) and Katharine (Bill), and a proud grandmother to 7 grandchildren, Logan, Hailey, Eleanor, Kit (Aidan), Ethan, Cooper, and Phoebe, who brought endless joy to her life. Whether through family gatherings, heartfelt conversations, holiday traditions, or simple everyday moments, she created memories that will be treasured forever.

Her greatest joy was being a wife, mother and grandmother. Nothing mattered more to her than her family, whom she loved fiercely and unconditionally. She celebrated every accomplishment, worried over every hardship, and made sure her family always knew where they stood — deeply loved.

Norma will be remembered for her love of crafting, gardening, and painting. Also, the wisdom she shared so freely. She had a remarkable ability to make people feel welcomed and loved, and her presence brought comfort to so many.

She is survived by her children, grandchildren, siblings, and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Dale, her parents Hansel and Kitty Abrams, and brother Larry.

A service to celebrate her life will be held on Sunday, May 17th, with visitation from 1-3 p.m and a time of memories from 3-4 p.m. at David Martens & Son Funeral Home 4175 Rocky River Drive (between Lorain & Puritas) Cleveland, Ohio. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance and honor of the beautiful life she lived. Norma would like everyone to wear bright colors or floral prints to her visitation.

Though our hearts are heavy, we find peace knowing her love remains with us always. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
