Mary Cathryn "Micki" Sheboy Passed away December 11th at age 67. She leaves behind a huge collection of gargoyles, a full set of drums and an electric xylophone. She also left behind a brand-new garage with a family of groundhogs living under it. Oh, and us, her family. Her beloved brother Charles, her OK sister Mary Elizabeth Oergel, her dear, dear brother-in-law Ernie Oergel, her super loved niece, Samantha Oergel, and her also super loved nephew, Ryan Oergel and his wife Alyssa. The article on how to write an obit said, “list likes.” She liked sports (Clevelanders never give up), she liked to laugh and pull practical jokes, she liked her job which included taking care of people, like mom and dad who preceded her – Charles “Chuck” and Rosemary “Dolly” (nee Grabor) and her siblings, Mary Anne, Michael, and Mary Margaret. She loved her friends. She had a lot of friends and when you became her friend it was for life – from grade school at Our Lady of the Angels and George Washington to John Marshall High, St. Vincent Charity School of Nursing to St. Louis University. She loved m&m’s (plain not peanut). When she ran out, which was rare, she would eat all the peanut ones she bought for her brother (and not tell him). She loved to buy exercise equipment for herself and never use it. She liked to hang on to things if they might be used again in the next century or two. She was a 20-year breast cancer survivor, because she fought like a girl. She was never on time for a single thing in her life. She left too early once.
