Mary C. "Dolly" (O'Donnell) Barry

Mary C. "Dolly" Barry (nee O"Donnell), Age 93. Passed away at home with her family by her side.  Beloved wife of the late Gerald J. for 64 years.  Adored mother of James (Mary), Pat (Rachel), Peggy (Tom) Shepard, Gerald Jr. (Mary Beth), Kathy, Sean, Tim (Jennette), Kelly (Dave) Martens and Maureen.  Cherished Grammy of 25.  Great Grammy of 48 with 3 more on the way.  Dearest sister of Michael T. "Mickey" (Mary) Barrett. Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, April 16th, 10:30 a.m. at St. Raphael Catholic Church 525 Dover Center Road Bay Village. PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH.  Private Interment.  Family will receive friends at the David Martens & Son Funeral Home 4175 Rocky River Drive (between Lorain & Puritas) on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. Following the mass everyone is invited to the AFTERPROM Luncheon at the West Side Irish American Club 8559 Jennings Road in Olmsted township.

Dolly had many talents. She was a gifted interior designer with an eye for making any space beautiful. She was a talented sewer and could "whip up" a window treatment on request. She loved to shop for home or fashion. She had great taste and always looked put together. Talbots will miss her!  She was a Cleveland sports fan and enjoyed watching our Guardians and Browns. She often scheduled dinner invites on Sundays around the Browns games and would come over during halftime so she wouldn't miss a play. She was competitive at cards, board games and dominos. She loved to win!   There will never be another Dolly. As we say goodbye to her the angels are singing Hello Dolly!
