Mark Edward Jordan, Age 63. Passed away suddenly on September 21, 2020 at South West General Hospital. He was born on October 9, 1956, here in Cleveland, OH and has been a Westpark resident for most of his life until relocating to Olmsted Falls, several years ago. Mark was the loving son of the late Albert E. and Nora Jordan (nee McBride) and cherished brother of the late Albert and Julie (Jordan)(Beckley) Scoggins. Beloved uncle of Kim Beckley McCrimager and Luke Beckley. Great uncle of Jordan and Hunter. Nephew and cousin of many. Special Boyfriend of Lesley Beth Walter.
Mark attended and graduated from Our Lady of Angels School for Special needs and went on to St. Edward's High School.
Mark loved old TV shows, bowling, dancing, music, singing silly songs, flirting and was proud of his Irish heritage. Mark worked in food service and janitorial positions at restaurants, nursing centers and Cleveland Hopkins airport.
The family will receive friends at the David Martens & Son Funeral Home 4175 Rocky River Drive (between Lorain & Puritas) Friday from 2 - 4 pm and 6-8 pm, and Saturday morning at St. Mary Catholic Church Gathering Space, 5450 Ohio Street, Vermilion, OH, beginning at 10 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am. PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Our celebrant will be Reverend Paul A. Schreiner. The mass will be livestreamed at www.stmaryvermilion.org
Inurnment will be at a future date in Holy Cross Cemetery, Cleveland.
