Marjorie L. Burns (nee James). Age 92. Passed away peacefully with her family by her side. Beloved wife of the late Raymond T. for 61 years. Loving mom to Raymond (Sarah) and daughter Maureen Burns.
Grandma to Zachary J. Powell ( Rena). Great grandma to Taerrn and Zia Powell. Daughter of the late Harold and Virginia James.Sister of Annabelle (Joseph) Bakaitis, Thomas (Virginia) James, Virginia (Milan) Kosovich, Marilyn McCann( Malachy) and the late Richard James. Aunt and great aunt to many. Marge was a dear and loyal friend. Her family, cousins and far reaching kin meant the world to her. Marge was the type of person who truly never met a stranger. Her friendliness and joy drew everyone in. She loved to laugh and play, being silly was one of most enduring traits. Marge is missed by many, her life was rich with love, leaving a legacy of caring and compassion.
Family will receive friends to Celebrate her Life on Friday, May 2nd, from 4-7 p.m. at the David Martens & Son Funeral Home 4175 Rocky River Drive (between Lorain & Puritas). Interment will be on Saturday, May 3rd, at 1:00 p.m. at Holy Cross Cemetery 14650 Brookpark Road Brook Park, Ohio. PLEASE MEET AT FRONT GATE OF CEMETERY.
