My dad was born and raised in Brownsville ,PA he moved to Cleveland sometime about 1968 lived in Tremont area on West 5th st Street lived upstairs my mother in large apartment building (Wilma Roton) . That time he was dating my mother's cousin Betty Parson they broke up and my dad asked my mother out and ever since they were they were together. They was married 21 years when they divorced 1991. He was married to Margaret June 2004.
My dad lived on a Farm and had
to stop going to school to help his family. I think he only finished up to 10th grade. He had stay home to help with farm and take of his mother Marie Mae and his 3 sisters.
She congestive heart failure at age 32 and passed away.
His little sister Wanda Jean passed away at the age of eight in a terrible fire.
My dad Father Jonah Harden passed away December 2011.
My Dad loved old antique cars, he had a 1957 Chevy just before died.
He used to take it to all the car shows and him and best friendBob ( Margaret brother-law) (Linda- Margaret sister)all four of traveled together all over the US and Ohio
Dad and Bob loves swap meets and wife loved the casinos. Dad
collected Hot Wheels and baseball cards from all sport teams .
he loved all out door sports too, he loved hunting, fishing , fixing his old cars. He had 2 bicycle shops in west side of Cleveland one on Detroit Road back in the I would think 1980s and he had one at our house in Tremont.
When he was younger and married to my mother ( Wilma) .
I know he raced old car's on Quigley Road in Tremont and he was in the crash up derby down on Canal rd. too with his brother (Chucky).
Our dad was a very hard worker all of our lives and he did the best he could with what he had he tried to show up for all of the events in the family for birthdays and holidays and he I know he said he loved all of us very much.
We all love you Dad so much and we are so happy that you had the last 7 days with us it was the best days for us as much as it was for you and I know you are happy in heaven with your mom and your sister and your father and your uncles we will never forget your dad.
