John Carl Whitaker

John C. Whitaker, age 64, passed away suddenly on March 27th. He was the beloved son of Donna Burgwald and dear brother of Jamie Lanzalaco. John was a cherished uncle to Candise Kratzer and Vanessa (Daniel) Antill, as well as a great uncle to Averly Stryjewski, Landon Stryjewski, Kairi Bolanos, and Dominic Antill. Family will receive friends at his Memorial visitation which will be held Sunday, April 6th, from 12 Noon until 3:00 p.m. at the David Martens & Son Funeral Home 4175 Rocky River Drive (between Lorain & Puritas).

John spent his days as an electrical engineer. A longtime resident of Brooklyn, he was known for his deep love of family and his fondness for his vintage stick shift Saturn
