Jeffrey Michael Wilson

Jeffrey M. Wilson, age 68, passed away on July 15, 2022 in his hometown of Fairview Park, Ohio. He will be lovingly remembered by his family, numerous friends and relatives.  

Jeff was born at Berea Hospital to the late Kathleen LePrevost (Walsh) and Glen Wilson and was stepson to Glenn LePrevost. Jeff is survived by his three daughters, Melanie Wilson (partner Rebecca Bralek), Michelle Wilson (partner Bernard Gillespie), and Kelly Wilson (husband Brad Wensink); his brother Glen Wilson; and two beautiful granddaughters Ruthie Gillespie and Frances Wensink. In addition to his parents, Jeff is preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Wilson.

Jeff was a graduate of Fairview High School Class of 1973 and incorporated his business in 1992. He owned and operated American Plaster and Drywall for over 27 years.  He was a dedicated professional and expert craftsman, leaving a lasting impression on many clients and employees.

Jeff battled cancer for several years and his perseverance and positive outlook was admirable and inspirational. He continued to find new ways to adapt to life to continue to do the things he loved. His good humor and courageous perspective will be remembered by many.  

Throughout his life, Jeff alluded to gratefulness; taking pride in delivering Thanksgiving baskets to families in need and sponsoring youth baseball leagues. Jeff enjoyed biking and walking in the park, caring for his plants, and watching sports. He loved spending time with his group of dedicated and loyal friends golfing and playing poker. 

Jeff will be remembered for his strength and unwavering love for his family and friends. A celebration for Jeff will take place sometime in October with more details to follow in the coming weeks. Condolences and special memories of Jeff can be shared with loved ones online here.
