Erhard J. Tober Age 84. Passed away February 19th at his daughter's house with his family by his side. Dear son of the late Artur and Erna Tober. Loving father of Andrea Tober Britten, Erich Tober, Edmund Tober (deceased) and Christina (Ron) Mayle. Cherished grandfather of Lacey Thompson, Tabitha Britten (both of South Carolina), James Polk, Tammy Phillips, Carina Tober and Faith, Paige and Jaide Mayle. Great grandfather of many. Dear brother of Roland Tober(deceased), Theodore (Inga) Tober, Horst (Ilsa) Tober and Klaus (deceased) (Karin) Tober. Uncle and great uncle of many. Erhard was born in Germany and moved to the USA with his parents. He began his career in commercial painting in Germany and then continued here in Cleveland. He was a member of Union local 707 since the age of 21. His family spent many summer days at Brunswick Lake when they were younger. Later in life he lost most of his sight but that didn't stop him from enjoying his many favorite hobbies such as gambling at casinos or playing Keno in many of the taverns near his home in Cleveland and Berea along with some Jagermeister. Best of all, he was tender, kind and loving. Graveside services will be held Monday, February 24th, at 12 noon at Lutheran Cemetery 4566 Pearl Road. PLEASE MEET AT FRONT GATE.
