Edward Joseph Moore

Edward J. Moore Age 46. Passed away from a brief illness on Saturday, February 8th, 2020. He was born September 8, 1973. The second son of William (deceased) and Ethelynne "Dolly" Moore. Eddie - as he was known to the rest of us - leaves behind big brother Billy and little brother Kevin, and his favorite sister Gail (Levitsky). Stepson of Wanda Moore. Let me tell you about the best part ... Eddie's dash.  Do you know what Eddie's dash is ... it's his story. Your tombstone has the year you were born and the year you died... and those two years are separated by a dash. That dash is what defines us.  Here's Eddie's dash...

     Life is hard. You're born; you blinked; and it was over. There are no buildings named after me; no monuments erected in my honor.  What I did make happen...I had the chance to know and love each and every one of my friends as well as all my family members.  I was lucky.  Do I have any words of wisdom - probably not.  Do your best, follow your arrow, and make something amazing out of your life - you only have this chance.  Never stop smiling.  If you want to, you can look for me in the evening sunset or maybe you'll find me when you're drinking your beer or working on a problem with your car. I'm not gone my friends, you know I'll be there in one form or another.  Of course that idea may comfort some while antagonizing others, but you know me... it's what I do.  I'll leave you with this... please don't cry because I'm gone; instead be happy that I was here. (Or maybe you can cry a little bit. After all, I have passed away). And I will miss you too.

A Celebration of Eddie's life will be held Thursday, February 13th, from 2-7 p.m. at his favorite sister's house. She lives at 6702 Laverne Ave. in Parma, Ohio 44129. Please dress casual !
