Betty (Bates) Nageotte

Betty Nageotte (nee Bates), passed away peacefully at her daughter's house in Cleveland, Ohio on December 28, 2025, at the age of 92. Born on March 20, 1933 in London, England, she was the daughter of Evelyn Bates and Alfred Clifford. She married the late James L. on January 10, 1953. 

Betty was the loving mother of Bernice (Stanley) Latosky (both deceased) and Connie (Tom) Hebebrand. Cherished grandmother of Jeremy (Wendy) Bemak (both deceased), Mark Bemak, Angie (Dan) Keshock, Tony Latosky (deceased), and Starr (Sean) Kelley. Great grandmother of Marcus Bemak, Amillia (Jacob) Hawkins, Lexii Hendricks (Ruby), Austen Keshock, Brandon Keshock, James Latosky, and Anastazia Latosky. Great great grandmother to Anthony Latosky. Dear sister of 9, who all lived in Cambridge, England. Aunt, great aunt, and great-great aunt of many. Beloved by all. 

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 2nd, 11:00 a.m. at the David Martens & Son Funeral Home 4175 Rocky River Drive (between Lorain & Puritas). She will be laid to rest with her husband at Holy Cross Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
