Bernadette Sweeney

Bernadette C. Sweeney (nee Traynor), age 89, died peacefully on February 2, 2019. Beloved wife of the late Anthony "Marty" Sweeney (d.1987). Loving mother of Rosemary (Mark), Martin (Sharon), James (Maria), Michael (deceased) and Thomas (deceased). Proud grandmother of Brittany, Jacqueline and Thomas; great grandmother of Olivia. Predeceased by parents, James and Lillian Traynor, and siblings, Geraldine McNeeley, Rosemary McIntyre and Raymond. Family and Friends are invited to gather for Mass of Christian Burial,10:30 a.m. Friday, February 8, 2019 at THE CHURCH OF ST. CLARE, 5659 Mayfield Road, Lyndhurst, Ohio 44124. FRIENDS MAY CALL AT THE DAVID G. MARTENS AND SON FUNERAL HOME, 4175 Rocky River Dr. (between Lorain and Puritas), Cleveland 44135, THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 7, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Private interment at HOLY CROSS CEMETERY. The family extends its heartfelt gratitude to Bernadette's caregivers at Ennis Court.
