HESS WILMA E. HESS (nee Simmerer). Age 92. Passed away March 19, 2014 in McKinney, Texas. She was born on January 25, 1922 in Cleveland, Ohio to Elmer and Anna Wilhelmina (Krihwan) Simmerer. In February of 1941, Wilma married Stanley Joseph Hess in Cleveland. She was an active member and secretary at Puritas Lutheran Church. She is survived by her daughter, Jan VanHoose and husband Rod of McKinney; grandchildren, Holly Nicole Reece and husband Mike of McKinney, Rex William VanHoose and wife Amy of Cypress, Tx; Great grandchildren, Catherine VanHoose, Vance Moncier, Elizabeth VanHoose, Ryan VanHoose and Emma Reece. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Anna Simmerer; husband Stanley Joseph Hess and brother Elton Simmerer. She will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Park in Olmsted Falls, Ohio.
