Obituary

Rose Marie Guenther was born on March 26, 1952.  As a child, she lived in Michigan, and later moved with her family to northeast Ohio.  She was married for almost two decades to William Guenther, and they had two daughters, Denise and Debra.  Affectionately known as "Grandma Rose", she had three grandchildren, Thomas, Oscar, and Summer.

As a hard-working single mother, Rose set an example to all those around her with her positive attitude and light-hearted spirit.  She held a variety of positions, including warehouse worker, security guard, custodian, school crossing guard, and dietary aide at Parma Hospital.

After retiring from Parma Hospital, Rose thoroughly enjoyed the comforts of home, often spending time in her Lay-Z-Boy recliner while watching Judge Judy on television.  She appreciated simple pleasures, like Dairy Queen hot dogs, root beer floats, and Pop Tarts.

As her health declined, Rose resided in Riverview Pointe Care Center in Olmsted Falls, Ohio.  Despite her physical challenges, she continued to maintain a friendly and pleasant demeanor.  She was known for being a patient person, with her favorite line, "Whatever it is, it is."

She died peacefully in her sleep on April 23, 2026, at the age of 74.
