Robert G. Pfeifer.  Passed away suddenly April 7th, 2016. Beloved husband of Rita (nee Baxter). Son of the late George A. and Mary J. Pfeifer. Brother of George A. Pfeifer (Bobbie). He is survived by his daughter Tara Silby and his step-children, Cheryl Pavolic (Tim) and Chad Cunningham along with 6 grandchildren. Bob was a proud Vietnam veteran who served in the U.S. Army.  His lifelong struggle with PTSD and his many medical problems made him empathetic to the cause of all those who served and struggled.  Bob had many friends from all walks of life.  He would want all to know his struggle was personal and he enjoyed and loved you all.  He never failed to shakes your hand, or give you a hug or a kiss.  So the next time you see the '57 ddrive by, give him a wave or raise your glass because he will be with you all in spirit. A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 16th from 2-4 p.m.

We cling to the promise You have made in Psalm 34:18 where You say, "The Lord is close to the broken-hearted and saves those crushed in spirit."From this Word we believe that You, in Your great and tender mercy, were near to Bob at the hour of his death and that Your mysterious saving power was at work in his final moments here on earth.  We cling to the hope that Bob is now surrounded by Your healing, loving presence.
