MARTIN ROBERT P. MARTIN, SR. Beloved husband of Pauline (nee Toth) for 72 wonderful and exceptional years. Loving father of Robert Jr. (Diane), Susan (Walter) Kaskey, Mary andJames (Pilar). Grandfather of Lisa (Gary) Grimm, Julie (Matt) Echols, Julian and Michael (Rachel). Great grandfather of Taylor, Sara and Colton, Jake and Blake, Eva and Rainn. Mr. Martin served in World War II, in the U.S. Army 248th Engineer Combat Battalion - HQ Company. His Battalion saw duty in Normandy, Northern France, Battle of the Bulge, Rhineland and Central Europe. The Martin Family will receive friends, this MONDAY, December 29th from 2-8 PM, at the DAVID G. MARTENS & SON FUNERAL HOME, 4175 Rocky River Drive (between Lorain & Puritas) Cleveland, Ohio. Tuesday there will be a service at Martens' Funeral Home at 11 AM, with internment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to your favorite charity.
