Miriam S. "Midge" Prybis, beloved wife of Robert A. Prybis. Devoted mother of Dawn Matava (Kenneth), Dana Calvitti (James-deceased), Debra Mason (Gary), Diane Harper (Robert), and Eric Prybis (Ricky). Dear sister of Bob Susz, Gretchen Warth, Mark Susz, Rachel Machuga, Mary Susz and Karl Susz. Devoted grandmother of Nicole Calvitti, Anthony Calvitti (Jayne), Kathryn Buczak (Douglas), Amanda Harper, Jessica Baldwin (Nicholas), Daniel Mason and Zachary Mason (Laura). Great-grandmother of; Carson, Autumn and Audrey Dyer. Hayden and Charlotte Addington. James, Alex and Ellie Calvitti. Ella Mason.
Midge was born in Mansfield, Ohio on July 29, 1941. She the oldest of 7 children. The family then made their home in Fairview Park, Ohio. Midge was in the first graduating class of Magnificat High School, but left to join The Sister's of Charity at Mt. Augustine in Richfield. After a short time, she rethought her path and returned to Magnificat and graduated in the second class with her lifelong friend, Micki Ollie. After Graduation she met Bob and they were married in October 1961. This marriage produced five children-Dawn, Dana, Debbie, Diane and Eric. After all the children were in school, she decided to pursue her ambition of becoming a nurse and graduated from MB Johnson School of Nursing in 1979. She worked various jobs until she retired. She especially loved being a hospice nurse Her devotion to her religion was very important to her. Midge would go out of her way to help anyone. She loved her family fiercely. She was sassy but sweet. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family. All the grandkids brought her much happiness.
Funeral Mass Saturday December 13th at 10AM at St Brendan's Church, North Olmsted, Ohio. PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Family will receive friends at DAVID G. MARTENS & SON FUNERAL HOME 4175 ROCKY RIVER DR. (between Lorain & Puritas) on Friday 2-4 & 6-8PM. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Cleveland Animal Protective League. Cleveland APL.
