Gregory A. Matis  Age 54, died at home unexpectedly on Sunday, Sept. 4. Beloved son of Robert (Captain Bob) Matis and Sheila McDonough. Loving brother of Sandy Rennillo, Dianne Walker and Scott Matis. Brother-in-law of Michael Rennillo, Dale Walker and Judy Matis. Uncle of Michelle, Liz, Jessica, Elicia, Austin, Cory, Aubrey and Emma. Nephew of Michael Matis, Lillian Filicko and Leona Caird.  A Celebration of Greg's life will be held at the David Martens & Son Funeral Home 4175 Rocky River Drive (between Lorain & Puritas) on Wednesday, Sept. 14th, from 4-7 p.m. with brief words of remembrance at 6:30. Afterwards everyone is invited to return to Scott's home to continue the celebration with food and beverages at 25380 Maple Ridge Road Westlake, Oh 44145.
