Eileen Frances Helman  (nee Guy)

Eileen passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 17, 2026. Born on July 18, 1924, to Charles & Stella ( nee Humpolick) Guy.

She married Frank M. Helman, Sgt. Army Air Corps WWII on May 12, 1943.

They had 8 children, 5 living. Patricia Helman (Stan) Godec, Greg Helman, Jo Ann Kirby, Curtis (Patricia) Helman, Elizabeth Helman (Robert) Patterson, Christine Helman Bassett, Guy Michael (Nancy) Helman.

She leaves 9 Grandchildren, Kimberley Bir, Christopher McGeady, Greag Helman, Patrick McGeady, Sandra Helman, Matthew Godec, Kelley Bennett & Sara Rockburn.

She also leaves behind 16 Great Grandchildren, 3 Great Great Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her Father, Mother, sister Lucille, sons Greg and Curtis, daughter Mary Lou, daughter in law Patricia, son in law Stan, Grandson Curtis and Granddaughter Dawn Marie along with her husband of 60 years Frank.

Eileen enjoyed raising her family and was a florist for many years. Frank & Eileen enjoyed traveling in their camper & snowmobiling in Canada with Harold & Lucille.  Now they are together and “On the Road Again”.

There will be a small service at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery on Friday, October 30, 2026 @ 10:15 AM. Please meet at cemetery entrance no later than 10:15.  When you arrive there will be sign indicating which lane of traffic you should be in for the procession to the committal shelter.
