Cody Joe Maier   Age 30.  Passed away suddenly on Friday, January 22nd.  Cherished son of Steve (Kathy) Maier and Lisa (Jeff Steitz) Maier. Best brother of Zack (Tina)  and Jacob Maier. Step-brother of Jon Steitz. Loving uncle of Adelyn, Tyler and Jackson.  Dearest nephew of Sue (Joe) Amoroso, Robb Maier, Jason (Teresa) Lee, Terri (Edith) Vernosky and Sheri (Tom) Trask. Beloved cousin of many. Brother to the whole hockey family. Friend to one and all. Family will receive friends at the David Martens & Son Funeral Home 4175 Rocky River Drive (between Lorain & Puritas) on Wednesday, January 27th from 4-8 p.m. Masks and social distancing required. Family suggests contributions to the Stella Maris Center or any addiction treatment facility.
